Picture this: four girlfriends riding the Staten Island Ferry into the city to enjoy an evening out together. The breeze is warm. The girls are laughing. They’re uninhibited – young and carefree. Shereen begins to sing, “You’re all I need to get by…” The passengers surround the four friends. The winds sound melodious as if harmonizing with the richness of her voice. This was Shereen. Always using her voice as a creative instrument to express her inner story and song. Singing most of her life, she performed at every opportunity possible. From the Staten Island Ferry to talent shows to the theatre. She wanted to merge her love of singing (and storytelling!) with her love of acting. Twelve years ago, she realized she had a knack for, and absolutely loved voice acting. She would spend the following decade raising her two boys (telling them stories, reading them books, and singing them songs) and working full time as a civil servant, which only intensified her dream.
Although new to this field, Shereen has completed extensive trainings and has been involved in voice work in her professional and personal life.
